The two had great chemistry as a unit. During their storyline, CM Punk chose to split away from Heyman, which led to harsh words.

Heyman told Punk he was the one responsible for his success. He claimed that he was the one who "fathered Punk," metaphorically stating that he was the person who brought CM Punk to WWE. The words were so strong that it became one of the rare times that Punk had little to say against a person calling him out.

A disrespectful fan broke the silence of the salute. Heyman not only threw him out but gave him double his money, essentially stating he would pay the person to stay away from his company.

7 "It's Him Corrupting Me."

After Roman Reigns turned heel in 2020, his true rise to the top of WWE began. He also added Paul Heyman to his corner, which allowed Reigns to be elevated even further thanks to Paul's skill on the mic. In the infamous promo where Heyman announced his allegiance to Roman, Heyman admitted that he wasn't corrupting Roman, but Reigns was so powerful as a heel that he was corrupting Heyman.

One of the best quotable moments for Heyman happened when he was questioned about his cell phone. He notoriously used his massive cell phone as a weapon in WCW. It was the precursor to the snark that would follow him for the rest of his career.

3 "We Hate This Stinkin' Network."

Paul Heyman cuts a promo on ECW's own network, TNN.

ECW had a very lackluster run on TNN that Paul Heyman has criticized many times throughout his career. Heyman took shots at McMahon, the WWE, and even Tazz. He even accused McMahon of copying the edgy style of ECW and calling it "attitude." This was a shot at the more extreme content of the WWE's Attitude Era.

1 "The Only Reason Why You Were WWE Champion For A Year, Is Because Triple H Didn't Want To Work Tuesdays."

Paul Heyman One Night Stand

Of all of Paul Heyman's great promos in his career, none were as visceral as his promo against the WWE roster during One Night Stand 2005. He took shots at multiple wrestlers. At one point he said, "It's Edge, hide your wives" a shot at the love triangle involving Edge, Lita, and Matt Hardy. The most quotable moment happened when he took a shot at JBL, who fans hardly bought as champion.

He demeaned his WWE Championship reign by stating "the only reason [JBL] was champion" was because Triple H didn't want to work on Tuesdays, meaning Triple H preferred working Raw instead of SmackDown, and hence JBL's rise.
