He is one of the top heavyweight talents in wrestling at the moment, and he's someone who has been around the business for a while now, especially with IMPACT. But, there are a lot of new fans to Brian's work, and because of that, there are a lot of matches fans are unaware of. 10 Tyson Kidd
Tyson Kidd may sadly no longer be able to wrestle due to a career-ending injury he suffered, but during his career, he did get the chance to compete against Brian Cage during their time in FCW.
This was before Cage even took on that name, instead, wrestling as Kris Logan. The two men competed multiple times during their FCW careers before Kidd made the move to the main roster.
9 Gangrel
That's right, former WWE Superstar, Gangrel has competed against Brian Cage during his career with the two men sharing the ring back in 2010. Gangrel has continued to work on the independent scene for many years, and that has allowed him to face a lot of the current top talents.

This match obviously didn't feature either Gangrel or Cage at their absolute best, as Gangrel was starting to wind down his career and Cage was just getting started. But it is certainly an interesting match to have taken place.
8 El Generico
Another name who is now working with WWE that Brian Cage has wrestled is El Generico. He's someone who now works as Sami Zayn in WWE, but prior to that moment, he worked together with the Young Bucks to compete against Generico, Kevin Steen Rick Knox.
The six-man tag team match took place at PWG and certainly brought the star power with some incredible talents taking part in the match.
7 Timothy Thatcher
Timothy Thatcher is another name that everyone is talking about at the moment due to his debut in NXT. However, Thatcher was making headlines long before putting pen to paper with a WWE contract.
His in-ring work speaks for itself as he has put together tons of fantastic matches and one of those ended up being against Brian Cage. They wrestled for Championship Wrestling From Hollywood and put on a tremendous clash together.
6 WALTER
They may now work for opposing promotions, with WALTER being signed to NXT UK, but these two men have collided before. They worked a singles match for WSW all the way in Australia, where Cage was the man who came out on top.
With Cage being able to move with great speed and athleticism, he worked perfectly against WALTER and the strength, power, and striking ability that he has.
5 Prince Puma
For fans of Lucha Underground, the rivalry between Brian Cage and Prince Puma (Ricochet) is one that fans will be very familiar with. However, those that didn't view the show will not be aware that the two men had several matches before.

Their in-ring styles were both very different yet they also had fantastic chemistry together as well. Puma was able to blend his highflying skills with Cage's power, and it always created get outcomes.
4 Rey Mysterio
Another top high-flying wrestler that Brian Cage has worked against plenty of times is Rey Mysterio, both in Lucha Underground and AAA in Mexico. Just like with Prince Puma, the in-ring style of the two men just worked perfectly together.
They always had really fun matches against each other and it's a shame that it likely won't happen on a big scale such as WWE or AEW, because they could really put on a match of the year contender.
3 Carlito
Carlito might not be a name that wrestling fans have heard on a major level for a long period of time but he has been working a lot since working with WWE. The veteran wrestler has worked with many top tier talents, one of which is Brian Cage.

However, this is one that a lot of wrestling fans will likely not be aware of, mainly because there match actually took place in Peru.
2 Byron Saxton
That's right, WWE commentator Byron Saxton has previously shared a ring with Brian Cage back when both men were part of FCW. A lot of wrestling fans actually forget that Saxton did start out as a wrestler, rather than a commentator, so it's easy to see why fans would forget this one.
Saxton was a big part of FCW and stuck around with WWE, eventually finding his niche behind the commentary booth. But they did share the ring during their time in Florida, working a tag team match against each other.
1 Tommaso Ciampa
The top NXT star is one of the best wrestlers in the world right now and he has put on fantastic matches against lots of wrestlers. That just so happens to include Brian Cage, who Ciampa wrestled several times for PWG.
They had just one singles match, and then two fatal four ways, one of which also included Apollo Crews. Interestingly Cage also took on #DIY as well in a tag team match, working with his partner, Michael Elgin for a real dream match.
