As the WWE transitioned from hot valets to hot females who could go in the ring, they found the perfect girl to showcase exactly what makes a WWE superstar during the Attitude Era. Trish Stratus came to the WWE via the fitness model world (and certainly that body helped sell a bunch of Divas In Hedonism DVDs).

She dedicated herself to becoming the best wrestler she could be (fun fact - it’s actually why her gear wasn’t too revealing, she didn’t want her gorgeousness to take away from her skill). But no matter how great she became in the ring, the WWE always found new and exciting ways to make certain segments with her cringe-worthy. Many fans remember watching Vince McMahon make her beg and bark like a dog, but there’s a bunch we might have forgotten.
9 The Monday Night Football Parody With Shelton Benjamin & Vince McMahon
Trish was able to span both the Attitude and Ruthless Aggression eras. Oftentimes, the Ruthless one was far more tawdry with its innuendo as opposed to just dumping the ladies in the pudding and watching them fight. During this time, WWE was trying to seriously compete with Monday Night Football for ratings and ran a commercial similar to the NFL and Desperate Housewives crossover. The WWE version included Trish in a towel and The Chairman eventually getting busy. Even before the recent news, just about everything involving Vince McMahon and Trish Stratus was 100 % UnStratsfying and creepy to watch.
8 One Of The Worst Matches In Raw History
The winners of Tough Enough Season Two were immediately thrown to the wolves. Those wolves were a blond Canadian and a rough and tough Texan. Bradshaw and Trish were tasked with carrying one-half of the season two winners, Jackie Gayda, and season one runner-up Chris Nowinski.

As Jim Ross might say, the match was bowling shoe ugly. Gayda clearly wasn’t ready to be anywhere near a ring. Trish should thank her chosen deity that nothing was botched to the point of a debilitating injury during this dumpster fire of a match.
7 Ripping Lita For Her Pregnancy
Some fans seem to forget that Trish Stratus made for a pretty good heel several times during his career. There was none quite as heelish during her run than when her frenemy Lita was supposedly with child. True, it was the demon seed of Kane, but it was a baby nevertheless. Trish ridiculed the poor girl incessantly during this time, and because she was preggers (kayfabe), Lita obviously couldn’t do anything about it.
6 Made Out With Vince In Front Of Linda
As previously stated, if Trish and Vince are on-screen, something creepy is bound to be occurring. While it all eventually led to Trish turning babyface, at WrestleMania 17, it sure featured a pretty creeptastic highway to get here.

During this entire storyline, Linda McMahon wasn’t only issued divorce papers from Vince, but she was comatose as well. Her unresponsive state allowed the blonde bombshell and The Chairman to make out with each other unopposed in front of her.
5 Carrying Christy Hemme
While Trish worked hard to go on and have a Hall Of Fame career, she was tasked with pulling off something that seldom few would have been able to do at her current skill level in 2005. That was try to have a passable WrestleMania match with Christy Hemme. Besides winning the Divas Search, Hemme found herself in this spot due to an injury Lita had sustained. She clearly wasn’t ready for the WrestleMania lights and Trish wasn’t ready to carry her through the match.
4 Botched WrestleMania Finish
The uber-family-friendly WWE wants nothing more than to eradicate Mickie James’ version of the DX Crotch Chop during her match with Trish Stratus At WrestleMania 22, but there is something else about the match that is way more cringe. While some fans might be perfectly fine with that X-rated WrestleMania moment, the Bulldog botch to end the match didn’t look great either. Much of this entire ending is edited heavily on Peacock.
3 Zero Charisma With The Charismatic Enigma
Fans thought Trish was attractive and respected her work in the ring. Another section of fans tonight Jeff Hardy was attractive and certainly respected his work in the ring. The WWE brass thought it was a good idea to try to put them together. What it looked like in reality was what Jim Ross might call “kissing your sister.” Neither one of them seemed all that interested in even trying to make the angle work.
2 Trish & Vince McMahon Vs Stephanie & William Regal
Besides being a hard worker and easy on the eyes, Trish Stratus deserved to get over just for all of nonsense she had to endure while hanging out with Vince. On an edition of Raw, she teamed up with her boss / “lover” to take on his own daughter and William Regal. But during the match, The Chairman turned on the bombshell.

After he declared that he no longer wanted to play with her anymore, Stephanie and Vince dumped a bucket of mopped up filth all over her.
1 Fans Cheered For Psycho Bubba Bomb
The WWE Universe were the culprit for this creepy moment. Early on the Dudley’s WWE run, Bubba Ray seemed to get a heap of pleasure from delivering devastating power bombs to ladies through a table. When the team was brawling with T & A, and by extension, Trish. That made her a heel. So naturally, during the nineties, babyface men decimating women earned the adulation of the crowd. When Bubba hoisted her up, the fans were nothing but delighted to see Trish powerbombed.
