Following a one-hour brutal affair between Bryan Danielson and Adam Page to open AEW Dynamite, Adam Cole, The Young Bucks and Bobby Fish appeared in a backstage segment teasing next week's AEW Christmas special. Speculation immediately began as to what that present might be.

After the Young Bucks threatened to end the career of Trent's mom, Cole said he had another present for the tag team and noted, "They'll be no lump of coal in your stocking this year." He added, "On the Christmas edition of AEW Dynamite next week, it's gonna be the best Christmas present that you guys could ever ask for." Matt Jackson said he loved surprises and Cole noted, trust me, you're gonna love this.

While this present could be literally anything, speculation will run rampant as to what Cole has planned. A favorite guess among fans at this point is that Kyle O'Reilly could be on his way to AEW. Would someone like O'Reilly rejoining with Cole and forming a new version of The Undisputed Era be in the cards? It could be the perfect time to bring out that surprise.

AEW Doesn't Typically Tease Small Things

AEW President Tony Khan said he learned the hard way not to tease a surprise if the company isn't going to deliver. With that in mind, one would logically expect this reveal might be pretty big. If it is, in fact, O'Reilly, it opens up the door for a number of storylines including an eventual Undisputed Era (different name) versus the Super Clique down the road, with Cole leading one faction and Kenny Omega leading the other.

The alternative here might be that AEW doesn't have anything big planned at all and the group is trolling fans and planning to deliver some kind of joke gift. That's not out of the question when you consider the Bucks' history with strange gimmicks around that holiday.
