Saraya, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho came to the ring on AEW Dynamite this week to do little more than have a go at the Winnipeg crowd. Each of them having a turn on the mic, Saraya decided to call the fans “twats”, a word many Canadians and American might not be familiar with. That's because it's a British curse word, and even though it hasn't ventured outside the UK all that much, you probably shouldn't be saying it on Dynamite.

Saraya Really Has Been Fined

AEW clearly agrees as Saraya revealed after the show that she was fined for saying twat on Dynamite. Fans thought it might have been part of an angle, but as has been clarified by Fightful Select (via 411Mania) since, the British star really has been fined. The amount Saraya has been told to pay wasn't divulged, but the money will go to AEW Together.

As well as having to pay a fine for swearing on TV, Saraya also apologized for the profanity backastage. Seemingly the same two punishments that were handed to Ace Steel when he said fuck on Dynamite while trying to fire up CM Punk last year. This time, a mass email was reportedly sent to AEW staff clarifying its stance on what can and can't be said on its live shows.

AEW Warns The Roster

The obvious is no swearing, although it's understandable that Saraya thought she might get away with the word twat since it isn't widely used outside of the UK. The group also appears to have been told off for showing their middle finger to fans, something they've been doing quite a bit, and the email reportedly also tells AEW stars not to body shame fans, something I believe Storm did during the same segment as Saraya's curse word.

It's not clear whether these are refreshed rules being put in place or if AEW has just reminded its on-screen employees of what is and isn't okay. MJF, for example, insults fans on pretty much a weekly basis, whether it be regarding their physical appearance or otherwise. The AEW Champion may be walking on eggshells too right now though following the backlash brought on by him throwing a drink over a child at Revolution.
