It's not official, but it appears Bobby Lashley has turned heel after attacking Brock Lesnar after his loss at WWE Crown Jewel on Saturday. It's an interesting choice considering how over Lashley was with the WWE Universe, but it will add an interesting twist to his run in WWE. It could be the right decision depending on how WWE moves forward with this feud, which clearly isn't over.

The match between Lashley and Brock Lesnar started the pay-per-view and was a banger early with Lesnar hurting his knee after being driven through the ringside barricade. He did his best to come back and even land a couple of suplexes and an F5, but that was it for his offense. Lashley dominated most of the bout and had Lesnar at his mercy until a miscalculation cost Lashley the victory. While Lashley applied the Hurt Lock, Lesnar used the ropes to push himself backward and onto Lashley. Lashley kept the hold applied but his shoulders were down and the official counted three. Lashley lost and Lesnar barely survived.

Unhappy about losing, Lashley applied The Hurt Lock again to a chorus of boos. He stood over his fallen opponent and raised his arms as though he'd won the figurative victory. Is Lashley heel now? He sure behaved that way and the crowd did not respond positively to his decision to attack Lesnar after the match.

Interesting Way To Start Crown Jewel

If this was a heel turn, this was a fascinating way to start Saturday's pay-per-view. It suggests there might be some real storyline twists at this show, something WWE doesn't often do at Saudi shows. Overall, this match was too short, but it was solid. The live crowd was clearly behind Lesnar and one should expect that he'll be looking for a measure of revenge on Raw this or next week.
