The Monster Among Men is back in WWE. His return was rumored when reports surfaced that WWE had re-signed the big man and Triple H teased a possible appearance when he said during his BT Sport interview with Ariel Helwani that he'd love to work with Strowman again. The giant showed up during a Fatal 4-Way No. 1 contender's tag match and destroyed the field.

As Chad Gable was going for the win with an ankle lock, the very familiar theme music of Strowman's hit and he marched down to the ring with a thundering ovation from the live crowd. He stepped into the ring and announcer Jimmy Smith said, "David, meet Goliath." Strowman began to take out each member of the tag match one at a time. He laid waste to security and then moved back to the tag division before finally leaving.

Strowman looked like he was in arguably the best shape he's been in since departing WWE months ago. He was huge, but also lean and he was clearly playing to the audience as he began to circle the ring with his Strowman Express. One trip didn't take anything away from his dominant performance and after sending Angelo Dawkins through a table, he catered to the crowd with a Hulk Hogan-like ear wave and left. Backstage he was asked about why he did what he did and said he'd be at SmackDown this Friday to explain everything.

Strowman Got A Huge Response

Word that Strowman might be returning to WWE was met with a mixed reaction on social media last week but it's obvious he's still got a lot of drawing power. There were crowd signs saying "Get These Hands" and the reaction to his return was anything bu my quiet. Fans were into his path of destruction even if some critics believe WWE got a huge pop at the expense of their tag team division.

Is Strowman headed straight to the main event scene? The way he was brought back, it sure appears that way.
