It was announced that Dolly Parton will be hosting the 57th Academy of Country Music Awards, set to stream live from Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on March 7, 2022.
"We are honored to welcome Dolly Parton back to be the centerpiece of this landmark [show]," Damon Whiteside, CEO of the Academy of Country Music, said in a statement, per People. "Dolly is the most iconic and multitalented artist of all time, and we are proud that she is a friend and supporter of the Academy."
Parton seemed just as excited for her upcoming hosting gig. "Watch for us because we're going to have some fun," she said in her own statement, according to People.
Over the years, Parton has been a fixture at the ACM Awards, hosting once in 2000 and racking up a total of 13 awards, including special honors like the Jim Reeves International Award, the Tex Ritter Film Award, and the Gary Haber Lifting Lives Award, as The Boot reports.
Parton has also won 10 CMA Awards and 11 Grammy Awards, according to Showbiz CheatSheet.
