75% of fans on WWE.com voted to see Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole engaged in an uninspiring rematch from WrestleMania 27 on the July 9, 2012 edition of Raw. Booker T was at the commentary table, and he pushed Cole in the ring after he talked some smack before the match began.

Lawler executed the airplane spin on Cole, and both weren't wearing wrestling gear. Nevertheless, Lawler made short work of Cole, so he thought until the Anonymous Raw General Manager intervened. The decision was reversed, and Cole was awarded the victory because of Booker's involvement.

Jerry Lawler isn't a stranger to short stints in Royal Rumble matches, and he was a surprising entrant in the 2012 Royal Rumble match. Lawler pulled double duty as he was at the commentary table. He ran right into trouble with The Miz and Cody Rhodes attempting to double team him but he took down both men with some right hands.

Lawler was finding his groove, and fans enjoyed his presence but the 12th entrant's run wasn't long for this world. The reigning Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes removed him from the equation. Nevertheless, Lawler got the last laugh as he eliminated Michael Cole alongside Booker T later on in the bout.

The September 5, 2011 episode of Raw featured Jerry Lawler teaming up with Zack Ryder against David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty. The former WWE Tag Team Champions took exception to Lawler's commentary about them. Ryder started the match but he tagged in Lawler as soon as Otunga and McGillicutty had the upper hand.

Lawler equipped himself well here, and the match was short and sweet. McGillicutty was out of the picture, and after Lawler planted Otunga with a diving fist drop from the top rope. Ryder secured the win with his patented Rough Ryder on Otunga.

Fans were subjected to witnessing another underwhelming match between Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole at Over The Limit 2011. This time they went head-to-head in a Kiss My Foot match. Cole wrestled in his suit and his trousers ripped. This was an abrupt contest with Lawler dominating right from the word go. Adding insult to injury, Lawler damaged the Cole Mine.

Lawler triumphed with ease. The humiliation just about started with Eve Torres coming down the aisle, and she nailed Cole with a Moonsault. Jim Ross poured bbq sauce on Cole, and Cole attempted to scurry until Bret Hart intercepted. The Hitman cinched in the sharpshooter with Cole kissing Lawler's foot.

There was a massive incentive for Jerry Lawler to topple former World Heavyweight Champion Jack Swagger. If Lawler prevailed, he collides with Michael Cole at Extreme Rules. That seemed miles away for Lawler in the early exchanges with Swagger overpowering Lawler.

Cole and Jim Ross were on the outside shouting encouragement for Cole and Lawler, and they shouted insults at each other. The match was average and Swagger grabbed JR but Lawler's roll-up earned him a date with destiny at Extreme Rules.

David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty were out for revenge as Jerry Lawler said that they lacked charisma. A week later from their loss to Lawler and Ryder, Lawler brought Sheamus on board in a tag team match. Otunga and McGillicutty kept Lawler away from Sheamus.

Once the Celtic Warrior got involved it was one-way traffic. Sheamus bulldozed past Otunga and McGillicutty, and he laid out both men with a Brogue Kick. Sheamus sealed the deal with the Celtic Cross on McGillicutty to heap more misery on Otunga and McGillicutty.

Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross clashed with Michael Cole and Jack Swagger in a tag team Country Whipping match at Extreme Rules 2011. Lawler attacked Swagger early on, and Cole wore bubblewrap to protect himself from getting blows. Lawler unraveled the bubblewrap with Cole running away.

This was an awful match, and both teams enjoyed spells of dominance. Swagger tagged in Cole as JR cinched in the angle lock. Nevertheless, Cole rolled up JR for the win after JR low-blowed Swagger and whipped him with the strap.

There was a Beat the Clock challenge held on the April 30, 2012 edition of Raw, and the man with the shortest time would face CM Punk for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit. Jerry Lawler squared off with Daniel Bryan, and Bryan let his intentions known straightaway as he upped the ante and set the tone of the match.

Lawler responded with some offense but it wasn't enough. Bryan kicked Lawler in the head, and he applied the Yes Lock with Lawler submitting instantly, punching his ticket to a blockbuster WWE Championship match with CM Punk.

Jerry Lawler's final match in a WWE ring was on the September 10, 2012, episode of Raw. Lawler teamed up with Randy Orton, and they were pitted against CM Punk and Dolph Ziggler. It was an impromptu match, and there were some decent exchanges between all four.

Paul Heyman came down to ringside and Punk was preoccupied with his manager's presence. Vickie Guerrero was furious, and Ziggler was left on his lonesome. Punk was unbothered, and the Viper saw off Ziggler with an RKO out of nowhere.

The August 27, 2012 edition of Raw featured Jerry Lawler and CM Punk locking horns in a steel cage match. This bout headlined Raw, and the Straight Edge Savior's WWE Championship was not at stake. Punk dominated the match, and he trash-talked for parts of the contest.

Lawler wasn't going to win but he did make Punk's life difficult in certain parts of the match. Punk shed blood with his head bleeding profusely. Nevertheless, it was a valiant effort for Lawler with Punk finishing off the job with the Anaconda Vise.
