John Cena and Nikki Bella ended their six-year relationship last month, and the two have since willingly opened up more about the break up, and how they've been coping with it.

Cena appeared on NBC's The Today Show with Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, and was asked about how he was doing following the break up. The 16-time World Champion admitted that he's still heartbroken, among other things.

"It's up and it's down. It's been incredibly reflective," Cena said. "But it is very difficult. I had my heart broken out of nowhere, or for me it was out of nowhere.

Cena also said he "would love to marry Nicole," and admitted he still loves her. On top of that, the future Hall of Famer added that he is not enjoying the bachelor, despite speculation that said otherwise. Cena also said he and Nikki are still on speaking terms.

US Weekly recently reported that Bella was still living in Cena's apartment, even after the breakup. A source told them that Cena "doesn’t want her to have to deal with moving after everything they have been through as a couple.”

Cena proposed to Bella at WrestleMania 33, amid rumors that he never wanted to get married again. She accepted, and their wedding plans were a focal point on Total Bellas series, which visibly brought on plenty of stress and frustration between the two.

But as the wedding date drew closer, Cena reportedly got "cold feet," according to People. A source also told them that he wasn't going to be able to make the necessary sacrifices to make things work with Nikki, which played a factor in their relationship ending.

Cena and Bella are clearly both heartbroken and care a lot about each other. The fact they're living together may bring hope to fans that the couple could always get back together. But for now, Cena and Bella are working on moving forward after their break up.
