Jon Moxley didn't exactly have a glowing review for Kenny Omega's exploding ring after he recovered enough to speak following Revolution.
As has become customary for Jon Moxley and Kenny Omega, the two of them went to war once again in the main event of Revolution. This time, it was in an Exploding Barbed Wire Deathmatch. As you might have guessed from its name, the match got violent, fast. It didn't take long for Moxley to get busted open and for his face to be absolutely drenched in blood.
The barbed wire element of the match delivered on multiple fronts. It was wrapped around the ropes, a steel chair, a bat, and even Moxley's arm at one point. The exploding element, on the other hand, did not. The fireworks that went off during the match were okay, but the "explosion" that was built to throughout the bout that appeared to knock out Eddie Kingston was somewhat embarrassing.

Sadly, since it was the very last thing on the show, it is what fans have been talking about more than anything else. If only AEW had kept the cameras rolling a little longer and caught what Moxley had to say. His post-show promo is below, and it centers on the former champion making fun of the explosion and ridiculing Omega for his shoddy workmanship.
"Kenny Omega may be a tough son of a b*tch, but he can’t make an exploding ring worth a s*it," Moxley told the in-house crowd, laughing as he did so. Moxley spent the next two minutes thanking the fans for coming to the show, all while selling his injuries from the match. Even though the closing explosion wouldn't have hurt him, rolling around on barbed wire for the 30 minutes prior cut him up pretty good.
Tony Khan has also sprung to the defense of the match following fan criticism of its lackluster ending. The CEO also blamed it on Omega, basically claiming it was The Cleaner's inability to craft explosives with his bare hands that resulted in the flat finish. Honestly, had it not been for the selling of Kingston and the announcers, it probably wouldn't have gone down as poorly as it did.
