The February 11 edition of AEW Rampage on TNT featured a pre-taped promo package hyping up the burgeoning feud between former allies Kris Statlander and Leyla Hirsch. In her promo, Hirsch -- who lived in a Moscow orphanage until the age of 8 -- referenced her upbringing ... as did Statlander.

Leyla Hirsch

"Honestly, if this is how your attitude was when you were a kid, I don't blame your parents for giving you up," Statlander told Hirsch in her portion of the package. Statlander's dig caused quite the stir on Wrestling Twitter, with most viewers being amused by its audaciousness, especially since Statlander is meant to be the babyface of the feud.

The following day, Leyla Hirsch took to Twitter herself to respond to Statlander's shade.

"You want to talk about why I was given up for adoption? You crossed the line this time, bitch!" Hirsch wrote. "I’m as real as they get, while you hide behind an alien cartoon persona because your real personality ain’t shit. When you get in the ring with me I will beat your ass into reality."

Hirsch and Statlander briefly made up two-thirds of an alliance that also included Red Velvet, but their relationship began to crumble following several miscommunication instances in the ring. Statlander is yet to respond to Hirsch's response, but this feud is really heating up and both women are doing a great job of generating interest in their rivalry.
