It wasn't long ago Mojo Rawley was teasing something big was coming up. He was dropping hints on social media and mentioning that things were happening, often mentioning dates that would arrive before his 90-day non-compete clause expired.
While the recent news about Rawley may not fall in line with those teases, there is some pretty cool news going around the Internet as he's been featured in an upcoming blockbuster movie trailer, which could hint that he's taking a dive into the acting world. He's clearly stoked as he wrote on his own Twitter page, "As the master of Hype, I can tell you this one breaks the Hype Scale!!!!"
The trailer for “Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins” was recently released and it features Rawley in a wicked fight scene with the titular character. In some kind of underground fight warehouse, he's going toe-to-toe with the G.I. Joe hero.
You'll have to watch closely as it's in the opening seconds in the trailer above and the action is fast and furious. It was promoted on the film's Twitter page Monday morning.
Good For Mojo Rawley
Rawley last wrestled in June 2020 before he was released by WWE in April 2021. He's been busy since his release and he seems to be the type of guy with energy to spare and is motivated to find success in whatever field he jumps into.
He recently appeared in a Logan Paul video last month alongside Rob Gronkowski -- a good friend-- and he's now got a part in the reboot for the G.I. Joe film.
There's no word on whether or not he's going to come back to wrestling or if another company has interest in him, but the more he appears in mainstream stuff like this, the more he's likely to be attractive to potential employers. Who knows, maybe WWE will even reconsider his release.
