Shotzi is one of the most underrated and underutilized women in WWE. Recently, that has started to change due to a developing feud with Bayley and Iyo Sky of Damage CTRL. A few weeks ago on SmackDown, Bayley cut off a huge chunk of Shotzi's hair. This didn't deter the star. Instead, Shotzi was shown shaving her head to the shock of Bayley.
Outside of a short on screen vignette shown on last Friday's SmackDown to scare Bayley, Shotzi hasn't been seen in WWE with her new hairstyle. Fans finally go their first look at Shotzi's shaved heard through a photo taken over the weekend during WWE's live event show in Mexico City. The show was main evented by Roman Reigns vs Rey Mysterio for the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship. Also on the card was a triple threat match for the WWE Women's Championship, where titleholder Asuka took on and defeated Charlotte Flair and Shotzi. The latter marched to the ring showing off her shocking new appearance, which was captured by a fan in a grainy photo.

Shotzi Changed Her Look For The Best Of Reasons
Fans were shocked when Shotzi was shown shaving off her hair during a SmackDown segment a few weeks ago. Some criticized the move, until the real reason for the change was revealed. This wasn't the case of a desperate wrestler trying to get over or Vince McMahon making a dumb move. Shotzi shaved her head because she wanted to show solidarity with her sister, Shawnee, who is battling Cholangiocarcinoma, a form of bile duct cancer. In an Instagram post, Shotzi said of her Shawnee, "I love you sister! You are my inspiration!"
With WWE finally giving Shotzi a babyface push which fans have been responsive to, this move is only going to make her more over with the WWE Universe. Shotzi did have some brighter news to share recently, taking to social media to reveal that she's now engaged.
Shotzi was part of WWE Tough Enough in 2015 before joining WWE as part of NXT in 2019. There she competed as Shotzi Blackheart, before having her name shortened when she joined the main roster. Though she has a wealth of talent, she's rarely had the chance to show it off. Here's hoping this is the beginning of the long lasting push she deserves.
