Neville vs Akira Tozawa For The Cruiserweight Championship
This match needed something news worthy headed into SummerSlam weekend, and WWE sure did that. Instead of waiting until Sunday, Tozawa had his shot on Raw, and won! Now Sunday's bout will be a rematch for a seething Neville looking to regain his throne. It may be on the kickoff show, but rest assured, the action within it will make it can't miss.
Winner: Neville

The Hardy Boyz and Jason Jordan vs The Miz and The Miztourage
A six man tag match was thrown together for the kick off show here. All signs pointed towards Jordan getting a shot at Miz's Intercontinental title, but clearly, this feud isn't at that point yet, and that's fair. Jordan hasn't earned that right, and his beef with The Miz has only just begun. It's better to throw in some tag teams and get six men on the show as opposed to just two.
WINNER: Miztorage
Randy Orton vs Rusev
There's not much to say about this one. Neither Randy Orton or Rusev has much to do at the moment, so naturally, they decided to pick on each other. Both are fresh off defeats at last month's Battleground, so neither one will want to lose at SummerSlam. Rusev, in particular, will be looking for revenge after suffering an RKO outta nowhere on the go home SmackDown Live.
WINNER: Orton
Big Show vs Big Cass
Big Cass breaking all our hearts feels like a lifetime ago now. Since then, the seven footer has repeatedly punished Amore while Big Show tried to fill the big man void in Enzo's life. Well, at SummerSlam Smack Talker Skywalker will have to watch his former big friend and his new one do battle from the comfort of a shark cage above the ring. The big boot versus the KO punch in a battle of the big men.
WINNER: Big Cass

'The Demon' Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt
Bray Wyatt has made a habit of picking on Superstars for no apparent reason, and this time he may have bitten off more than he can chew. Wyatt and Finn Balor have been exchanging barbs and words for weeks, but last week on Raw Wyatt dumped a bucket of red paint over Balor after defeating him. It proved the last straw for the Irishman who promised the return of his Demon alter-ego for their showdown at SummerSlam.
WINNER: Balor
Alexa Bliss vs Sasha Banks For The Raw Women's Championship
Alexa Bliss was set to face Bayley in this bout, that was until the champion's fair weather friend Nia Jax rendered The Hugger out of action. Enter Sasha Banks who defeated the aforementioned Jax to win the slot vacated by Bayley. Banks is already a four-time champion, and the self-proclaimed Goddess of WWE will have her work cut out to stop The Boss making that five.
WINNER: Sasha
AJ Styles vs Kevin Owens For The United States Championship
These men are two of the greatest wrestlers in WWE right now, so there will be few arguing that we've seen this match too many times already. The US title continues to be traded back and forth between the pair, but all signs point towards this being the final chapter in this current saga. The bout may be for a secondary title, but if given half a chance Styles and Owens could most definitely steal the show. Plus, don't forget the added influence of Shane McMahon as special guest referee.
WINNER: AJ Styles
The New Day vs The Usos For The SmackDown Tag Team Championships
A feud that has been stewing for a long time, unlike that of Miz and Jordan. The tussle for SmackDown's tag titles between these two teams has gone back and forth for a while with New Day taking the belts from Jimmy and Jey at Battleground. We've seen beat downs and battle raps, but at SummerSlam, we will simply see a straight-up match.
WINNER: Usos
Naomi vs Natalya for the SmackDown Women's Championship
Natalya being a Women's Champion, or at least getting a shot at becoming one, really does feel like a long time coming. At SummerSlam, Nattie gets that shot against the current champion, Naomi. There wasn't a lot of build for this one, although it does reek of a spot on the SummerSlam card where we could see a title change in order to shake things up for the SmackDown Live women. Carmella and her briefcase may be lurking in the shadows also.
WINNER: Natalya

Sheamus and Cesaro vs Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose For The Raw Tag Team Championships
Will they? Won't they? It's been a roller-coaster ride keeping track of the turbulent renaissance between Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Six days before the biggest event of the summer, the two former Shield members finally put aside their differences and got back on the same page, much to the pleasure of the WWE Universe. Divided Sheamus and Cesaro had their opponents' number, but even without Roman Reigns, you would have to imagine the shades of The Shield, The Architect and The Lunatic, will bring on Sunday night equal trouble for the champions.
WINNER: Ambrose and Rollins
John Cena vs Baron Corbin
This match didn't really have much going for it. That was until John Cena cost Baron Corbin his Money in the Bank championship match. Now, The Lone Wolf is seething and desperate to get some revenge on the sixteen time World Champion. Rumor has it that Cena is Raw-bound following SummerSlam, and it may be because of the beating he suffers at the hands of Baron.
WINNER: Cena

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Jinder Mahal For The WWE Championship
Jinder Mahal effectively came out of nowhere to lay claim to the WWE Championship. He may have gotten by with a little help from his friends to keep that belt around his waist, but he is still champ nevertheless. He's never faced someone like Shinsuke though. The King of Strong Style defeated John Cena to earn this chance and as WWE puts it, he will want to add the finishing touch to his masterpiece by becoming WWE Champion at SummerSlam.
WINNER: MAHAL

Fatal Four Way For The Universal Championship
This match may be the biggest main event in SummerSlam history, on paper and in terms of sheer mass. These men have continually clashed in some form or fashion over and over again for months now, and when all four are in the same ring at the same time you can rest assured that destruction will ensue. Every man has done enough to convince the WWE Universe that they'll leave Brooklyn as champion, but only one of them can follow through.
WINNER: Lesnar
