Fans of Halsey were hopeful that the singer-songwriter had finally gotten lucky in love in 2019. That's when she admitted to the world on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that she was in a relationship with actor Evan Peters, as she called him her "boyfriend" on national television. The pair also turned up in each other's Instagram posts on the reg, including on Valentine's Day in Switzerland (via People).
Unfortunately, it would appear that things weren't meant to be for Halsey and Peters, as, in March of 2020, she deleted nearly every post of them together from her Instagram page. Shortly thereafter, it looked like Halsey was hanging out with her ex Yungblud as well, sparking all kinds of questions.
Rumors and gossip aside, instead of self-destruction, Halsey seemingly channeled all of her emotions into a book of poetry entitled I Would Leave Me If I Could, according to her Instagram page. "It's things I ruminate on, fixate, miss, cry, regret, re-live and overcome," she said of the tome.
