Jennifer Lawrence began dating her "X-Men First Class" co-star, Nicholas Hoult, in 2010. Lawrence dished on their relationship in a 2012 interview with Elle. She said (via The Hollywood Reporter), "[My boyfriend] is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I'm his best friend too. He's my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody ... We can eat Cheetos and watch beach volleyball, and we turn into two perverted Homer Simpsons, like, 'Oh, she's got a nice a**.' I never thought we'd have such different opinions on a**es."
Lawrence and Hoult broke up in 2013 for unspecified reasons. However, the couple got back together in 2014 while working on "X-Men: Days of Future Past." By that point, Lawrence was at the height of her fame and still fresh from her Oscar win. In an interview with V Magazine, Hoult revealed how these factors affected their relationship.
According to Elle, he said, "The privacy thing obviously changes but the rest pretty much stays the same." Hoult added, "It's like that thing whereby you don't believe your own hype. I think that's something she's capable of doing, and that's what makes her special, but yeah, it is very odd, and I am just kind of a bystander in many ways. It is well deserved for her. I haven't really seen any change in her."
