All Elite Wrestling has a roster loaded with talent, with a mix of legends and wrestlers on the rise. In the midterm future, it is possible that some of those legends will be retired, some of those wrestlers will become megastars, and others may make the jump to WWE (or any other company).

It is uncertain what may happen in the following years. In the wrestling universe, things can change drastically from one day to the next, even so, we dare to make some predictions. Without further ado, below are 10 of the best AEW wrestlers, and where they will be in 2025.
10 Chris Jericho: Retired
Chris Jericho is a larger-than-life character. He has had a legendary career, with over 30 years putting body and soul into the industry, which is admirable. However, part of the journey is the end, and Jericho is closer to the end than ever, as he is 51 years old. While Jericho may still wrestle, it's hard to imagine him wrestling beyond 2025. He surely won't want to damage his legacy, so he will most likely hang up his boots before embarrassing himself in the ring.
9 Wardlow: WWE
Wardlow is AEW's breakout star, he is one of the hottest wrestlers in the company, and, according to multiple reports, he has attracted interest from WWE. Wardlow may be happy in AEW right now, but it remains to be seen what Tony Khan's plans are for him. When the time comes, surely WWE will offer Wardlow a large amount of money, a figure he may not be able to refuse. So, in 2025, Wardlow could be working for WWE.
8 Jon Moxley: World Champion
So far, no wrestler has been able to win the AEW World Championship more than once. With that said, arguably the best candidate to be the first two-time World Champion is Jon Moxley, who today is one of AEW's most beloved wrestlers. In 2025, we may see Jon Moxley holding the world title. But in 2022, Moxley may earn the right of calling himself a two-time AEW Champion when he battles Hiroshi Tanahashi at AEWxNJPW: Forbidden Door. That match will be for the interim AEW World Championship.
7 Kris Statlander: Women’s Champion
Kris Statlander is undoubtedly one of the best female wrestlers in AEW. Apparently, she is next in line to face the undefeated Jade Cargill. Will Tony Khan pull the trigger on Statlander to dethrone Cargill? Only time will tell, but no one can deny that Statlander is probably the best option to defeat Cargill.

If indeed Statlander becomes champion soon, then it would be the beginning of a long era, and if she loses to Cargill, then we will just have to wait a little longer. One way or another, in 2025, Kris Statlander will be in the women's title picture.
6 Sting: Retired
Sting has had a much longer career than expected, as no one imagined seeing Sting wrestling in 2022. He has done an excellent job and has looked great for his age, even performing crazy spots, such as the dive from the balcony. Fans are loving Sting's AEW run, no doubt about it. In 2025, Sting will be 66 years old, so he will most likely already be retired and at home with his family, watching wrestling on TV.
5 Jamie Hayter: Women’s Champion
Jamie Hayter is arguably the woman with the most potential in AEW. Many believe she will be one of the best female wrestlers in the world in the future. It's about time to start the Hayter/Britt Baker split storyline, book Hayter unhappy, maybe jealous of Baker, have them have a feud and Baker puts over Hayter. Then Hayter's solo push would slowly continue, building momentum until she wins the AEW Women's World Championship, or TBS Championship, by 2025.
4 Bryan Danielson: World Champion
The Blackpool Combat club is just getting started. This stable has a lot of potential, and Tony Khan knows it. Bryan Danielson, William Regal, and Jon Moxley want to teach violence to young talent, but they also want to help them grow, as they’re helping Wheeler Yuta with his promos as well.

Bryan Danielson is likely to postpone his World Title quest while he is part of the Blackpool Combat Club, but we know that sooner or later he will be World Champion. So, by 2025, Danielson will still be in AEW, holding the World Title, or headlining PPVs.
3 Hikaru Shida: Back To Japan
Hikaru Shida is the best female wrestler in AEW, as she is simply a step above the rest in terms of in-ring skills. However, lately, she has not received much screen time, and in fact, she was replaced from the Owen Hart's women's tournament, and she was not happy about it, to say the least. The Japanese wrestler has expressed how difficult it is to work for AEW, and among so many problems, she may decide to return to her homeland when her contract expires.
2 Kenny Omega: Part-Timer
In 2025, Kenny Omega will be 41 years old, so he will still be relatively young and could be a full-time wrestler. However, Omega is currently going through a series of surgeries, recovering his body from all the damage it has sustained over the years. In that sense, when Kenny Omega returns, he may take things slow, and step into the ring sporadically in a part-timer role.
1 MJF: WWE
Whether it's a work or not, MJF has revealed that WWE is interested in him and that he would make the jump if the money is on the table. This has been a conversation topic for the last few months, but after MJF did not show for up an AEW meet and greet, things are getting critical, as MJF may actually be unhappy in AEW. Cody Rhodes’s successful return opened the doors for those who have doubts about going to WWE, and MJF could be one of them. MJF’s contract expires in 2024, so by 2025, he could be a WWE superstar.
