WWE's decision to split WrestleMania into two nights has guaranteed that those who compete get more time, and things can be spread out. However, it also brings an element of competition which is fun to see, as night one and two end up competing against each other to steal the show over the weekend.

This year, both nights had some positives, and that was great to witness. Audiences were left impressed with everything they saw over each day, which created a memorable event overall. But each distinct night certainly had its positives that allowed the show to stand out overall.
10 Night One: Logan Paul Impresses
Anytime a celebrity steps into the ring, it will go one of two ways. Either fans can expect a brilliant encounter or a complete disaster. Thankfully, Logan Paul brought a great match, and he had put in the work to be ready. His performance was superb, and that drove things forward for the show.
It was a surprise package that helped audiences enjoy night one even more, as this delivered. When a match doesn't do that it can hurt the flow, but this didn't do that, and it helped night one be memorable, which is a credit to Logan.
9 Night Two: Pat McAfee Thrives
While Logan Paul wrestled well and showcased his ability, on night two Pat McAfee stole the show as far as celebrity performances at WrestleMania this year. The atmosphere that surrounded his match was electric, and he felt like a genuine rock star when hitting the ring.

The audience was massively behind him, and that led to a brilliant match. That was only enhanced by the fact that Pat put in a brilliant performance throughout. It led to a great encounter with a huge atmosphere that felt truly WrestleMania worthy.
8 Night One: The Women Step Up
Night one had the advantage of having two major women's matches in comparison to the one that took place on Sunday. However, the two title matches thrived on Saturday night, as all four women involved put in a great effort. The Raw Women's Title match was unbelievable, as they stole the show.
Meanwhile, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair certainly held their own as well. This led to some fun moments, showcasing the strength in WWE's women's division, giving a real advantage to night one of the show.
7 Night Two: Stronger Opening Match
Injuries happen in wrestling, and unfortunately, Rick Boogs getting hurt on night one led the opening match falling flat. There was nothing that could be done with that, but it allowed the night two tag team match to take advantage. This was the stronger opening match, and that set a greater tone for the show.
That match was arguably the best of the entire night, and one of the strongest of the weekend. It gave the Sunday show a major advantage when discussing which night was the best one, as it ended up being a tremendous encounter.
6 Night One: The Cody Rhodes Factor
When fans look back at WrestleMania 38, the return of Cody Rhodes is going to be something people remember and talk about for years to come. That is something helped to make the Saturday night show the strongest, as it created a true WrestleMania moment.
This is what the Grandest Stage Of Them All is supposed to be about, with WWE creating situations that fans are not going to forget. Cody's return got a huge ovation, and then went out and delivered an epic match with Seth Rollins, highlighting how good he is inside the ring.
5 Night Two: More Surprises
While Cody Rhodes was a good surprise, it was one of the worst-kept secrets in wrestling. Plus, while that moment was a fun one, the Sunday delivered far more when it came to the shock factor. The event kicked off with Triple H leaving his boots in the ring, which nobody saw coming.

The audience was then treated to Gable Steveson getting into the ring and having a physical moment with Chad Gable. Vince McMahon and Steve Austin were also not advertised for this show, which allowed the Sunday to be a lot more surprising.
4 Night One: Stronger Steve Austin Segment
Stone Cold Steve Austin was part of both nights for WrestleMania 38, and while his appearance on Sunday was a surprise, it was Saturday that ended up being a better segment. Things didn't quite go to plan on Sunday, with the Stunner to Vince McMahon being a disaster.
However, his original appearance on night one was incredible. From the promo on the KO Show to the fact he had an actual match with Owens. Steve looked great in his performance, with the two men going back and forth to close the show brilliantly.
3 Night Two: Chaotic Brawls
Gimmick matches are a staple of WrestleMania, and each night brought one to the table. Steve Austin and Kevin Owens had a no holds barred match on Saturday to provide that. However, on night two things were taken to another level with Sami Zayn and Johnny Knoxville, which was pure bedlam.
A wrestling purist might hate this one, but it was hilarious, and it got the crowd invested from start to finish. They blended in some truly creative spots, with all the Jackass crew getting involved to create the type of brawl that fans wanted to see.
2 Night One: Stronger Wrestling
While WrestleMania is now more than just a wrestling show, is it has become a spectacle, the fundamental focus is always the same. It is the in-ring product that drives these PPV events, and that is where night one stood tall. The Saturday night simply had the better wrestling.

Cody Rhodes against Seth Rollins was fantastic, while Bianca Belair and Becky Lynch had arguably the best match of the weekend. The entire show had a high standard of in-ring work, and that is why it will be seen as the better show overall.
1 Night Two: The True Main Event
While seeing Steve Austin and Kevin Owens brawl around to close Saturday was tons of fun, the fact is that Sunday night brought the real main event. WWE might split the shows nowadays, but the very last match of the weekend is still seen as the biggest. That was certainly the case this year.
Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar more than delivered what fans were expecting. The match had been heavily built up over months, and they didn't let people down. It was a true heavyweight clash with a lot of big moves, and that closed the show in a strong manner.
