WWE has a new logo for their popular SummerSlam event, doing away with the one fans had become accustomed to over these last several years and unveiling a new representation months ahead of this year’s show.SummerSlam 2022 is set for July 30 and will be held in the Nissan Stadium in Nashville.Related: Early WWE WrestleMania Backlash 2022 Odds RevealedWith tickets having gone on sale last week, there are new promotional graphics going around featuring Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, Ronda Rousey, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, and Bobby Lashley.Of course, you could get a look here.
WWE changed the logo in 2015 for its New York event and reverted to the star logo thereafter. It’s possible that what’s seen above is a one-time thing made for Nashville.
SummerSlam Ticket Numbers
The promotion released 19,949 tickets in its first sale, according to WrestleTix, and there are still 14,485 left given the capacity of 34,434 at the Nissan Stadium. More seats will become available as tickets are sold.
WWE will have a number of stadium events this year. Money in the Bank will be held at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on July 2 while there will be a UK event at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales on September 3. There’s also a Saudi event coming up in October.
Reports claim the promotion has plans to host more stadium shows next year.
