Overview
Dr. Cain is Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Kansas Medical Center and Distinguished Fellow of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Her research interests have focused on telepsychiatry for children and adolescents. Her publications have included the original practice parameter on Telepsychiatry for youth and a book chapter on Telehealth in a major textbook on child and adolescent psychiatry.
Another area of research interest is participating in clinical psychopharmacology studies in youth, to better understand the safety and efficacy of medications.
